CMA CGM cuts sailings due to Chinese Lunar New Year

The CMA CGM Group has decided to anticipate the reduced production during the Lunar New Year period in China starting on February 10, 2013, and to adjust its offer to meet reduced demand on its services out of China.


On the Far East to North Europe trade, CMA CGM has decided to cancel one sailing on FAL 1 in week seven; cancel one sailing on FAL 10 week seven; cancel one sailing on FAL 3 week seven; cancel two sailings on FAL 7 weeks seven and eight; and cancel one sailing on FAL 2 week eight.

Nevertheless, to continue providing its customers with usual quality of service and to maintain an optimum coverage of the range during this period, CMA CGM will implement additional calls in Singapore and Le Havre on FAL 1 on week eight.

The new FAL 1 rotation is Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Yantian, Singapore, Port Kelang, Tanger, Southampton, Le Havre, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre.

CMA CGM will also introduce Xiamen, Chiwan and Tanger Med on FAL 3 on week six.

The new FAL 3 rotation is Tianjin, Dalian, Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Chiwan, Yantian, Singapore, Port Kelang, Tanger, Le Havre, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Southampton, Zeebrugge.

The new introduction on FAL 6 on week six and seven are Yantian and Sines. The new FAL 6 rotation is Tianjin, Kwangyang, Busan, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Singapore, Port Kelang, Sines, Felixstowe, Zeebrugge, Antwerpen, Rotterdam.
